Time to Play
FyrFlyz has won Time to Play’s third annual People’s Play Awards in the active toys category. Time to Play’s editorial team reviewed thousands of toys over the past year to come up with the best and brightest in 25 categories and allowed the public to vote on their favorite.
Oppenheimer Platinum Award
We’re excited to share the news that FyrFlyz has received a Platinum Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Award. The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio was founded in 1989 as the only independent consumer review of children’s media by child development experts Joanne Oppenheim and her daughter Stephanie Oppenheim. Their Oppenheim Toy Portfolio awards have become a benchmark of excellence with consumers, toy makers and the media.
Tagie Award
The TAGIE Awards Dinner is an elegant and playful evening gala that brings together industry leaders from inventors to manufacturers to retailers - for a night of celebration, networking and fun! Held in conjunction with the Toy & Game Inventors Conference (T&GCon) and The Chicago Toy & Game Fair (ChiTAG), the TAGIE Awards are voted on by industry experts, retailers and consumers alike. Honoring recipients for excellence in the categories of Toy Design, Game Design, Young Inventor and Rising Star, the TAGIE Awards recognizes toy and game inventors from across the country, whose playful creativity and inventiveness resulted in some of the most fun and entertaining play products on the market today. We’ll also pay homage to those inventor greats who stand out in the eyes of the toy industry for their exceptionally innovative spirit for fun, philanthropy, and humanitarianism.
In 2011, the Joel Rosenzweig and Marty Abrams, founders of i-Star Entertainment and the brains behind FyrFlyz received the prestigious Tagie award for Excellence in Toy Design. Check out the Tagie Awards Site.
